Upcycled, Unapologetic, and One-of-a-Kind

We’re not here to mass-produce. We’re here to reimagine.

At 2nd Class Fanny, we turn the discarded, the forgotten, and the downright funky into fanny packs, jackets, totes, and wearable art you won’t find anywhere else. Every piece is made from upcycled materials, rescued textiles, sentimental threads and reborn into something rad.

It’s sustainable. It’s personal. It’s got attitude.

Origin Story

2nd Class Fanny began the way all great things do: with a disaster, a stubborn streak, and a healthy dose of delusion.

Picture this: a river tubing trip with ten friends, good vibes, and zero survival instincts. About two hours into what was supposed to be a lazy five-hour float, we hit some rapids and BAM, three inner tubes popped in thirty seconds. The unlucky trio (myself included) swam the rest of the way.

Did we learn a lesson?
Yes: never trust an inner tube. But also… don’t throw them away.

Because I physically cannot throw anything away, I kept the busted tubes. I didn’t know how to sew, but I was determined to turn them into fanny packs for everyone on the trip. Armed with pure grit and way too many YouTube videos, I stitched ten inner tube fannies. Somewhere between pack four and five, I realized: “Huh. I think I can sew now.”

From there, it spiraled beautifully out of control. People started giving me all kinds of junk they didn’t want anymore, jackets, tarps, tents, even pool toys, and I turned them into fanny packs. Then tote bags! Then jackets! Then greeting cards! If it’s weird and would usually end up in the trash, I probably want to make something out of it.

2nd Class Fanny is all about giving second chances to materials that didn’t ask for this life... but got it anyway.
